Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn has been an actress for more than 20 years. Anna Gunn is a US actress. Other roles she has played include Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock from Deadwood. Anna Gunn grew up in Sante Fe New Mexico and discovered her love for acting during her time at the Preparatory School. At the end of the 1970s, the family moved to Ohio. Anna attended the British American Drama Academy and studied theatre in the theatre department at Northwestern University. Anna began her professional career in Chicago-area theatres for a short time. She then moved on to TV and film. Anna received her breakthrough in 1992 when she played Arden for the duration of 29 episodes on Down the Shore. Anna continued appearing in films and TV series such as Seinfeld, NYPD Blue and other shows until the end of 1990's. Anna was later selected for The Practice as Jean Ward. She was cast as Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons in the late 2000s. Skyler appeared as Martha Bullock in Breaking Bad (2008). Sully was another of her roles. Gunn also took to the stage in a David Schwimmer-directed production of Sex With Strangers. Gunn was in the role of the character Numbered Days in a four-part audio series that was released in 2022. Breaking Bad is often centered on the relationships between Walter White with his wife Skyler. Their conflicted relationship and eventual end resembles the last years of Walter White's personal life.
